About Me
The premise behind Back2Black is about working alongside you and your business to see you out of the red - and Back2Black.
But it's about more than just the money. It is about not losing sight of the goals and aspirations - both business and personal - that led you into business in the first place, and about keeping you on track to achieving them.
I am a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years combined experience in bookkeeping, business administration and accountancy and would love to share what I have learned over time with you and your business.
My focus is on fostering close working relationships with clients, built on a strong foundation of mutual trust. For me, it's a business partnership and it's about knowing and understanding your business and being available and responsive to your needs. Above all, it's about the quality of the relationships over quantity - this is what I find genuinely rewarding.

An onboarding process as easy as possible.

1. Discovery
I will visit your place of business and undertake a needs assessment. You can show me around, tell me a little about what you do and how you go about it. We can talk about the administrative systems and processes you have in place currently - as well as any improvements you would like to see. I will also be looking for opportunities to save you time and money in terms of business administration. I will leave it with you at the end of this initial meeting to advise whether you would like to move to the next step. Take some time to think it over and then give me a call or email.
2. The Damage
I will prepare a quote based on my findings at our initial meeting - I may have some clarifying questions or request further information at this point.
I offer fixed annual fees up front with options to pay on instalment - be it monthly, quarterly or seasonally, if appropriate, to suit your cashflow.
If we have identified opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to be gained through systemisation, automation and/or training I will include these as options for consideration.
If you accept the quote at this point, we will move to the third and final stage of onboarding.
3. The Detail
My aim at this stage of the process, is to make it as quick and painless to you as possible.
If you would like to contact your previous accountant to advise them that you are making the change, that is up to you. If not, I can handle the entire process on your behalf. Either way, I will need to make contact with them to request your records.
While we await the transfer of your files, I will work with you to gather together the remaining information necessary to get you set up and signed up as a client at Back2Black.
All that is left then is to welcome you onboard - and I look forward to working with you!
